Continue to feed balcony and patio plants. Once a week, apply a liquid feed with Organic Multipurpose Plant Feed or any other special fertiliser to ensure a balanced supply of nutrients. Tomatoes in tubs and herbs also need more nutrients. The best way to give them this is to feed them regularly with an Organic Tomato Feed. Simply add the feed to the watering can. Fertilise regularly until the autumn.

In particularly wet weather, tomatoes in tubs are susceptible to late blight. At the first signs of infestation, immediately spray with an agent to combat fungal diseases and vegetables. Ask at your garden centre for a suitable product.
