Seedlings can go outdoors

Young vegetable plants can be transplanted outdoors once the risk of frost has passed. Plant tomatoes, cucumbers and other vegetables in the garden, improve the ground with a soil that has been specially designed to meet the needs of vegetables. This gives your seedlings the best possible start. Add a little Organic Multipurpose Plant Food into the planting hole. Give vegetable beds an extra dose of potassium before planting. Simply scatter Organic Multipurpose Plant Food over the ground and work in. A good supply of potassium increases resistance to drought, frost and pests and improves taste, ripeness and quality of the crop.

Prevent slugs

Caution slugs: Slugs love to eat young plants. To stop your plants from being eaten, spread Sluggo® Slug & Snail Killer+ or Sluggo® Slug & Snail Killer Ultra+.

Feed vegetable seedlings

Do not forget to feed your vegetables: Give your plants the right start by feeding them with an Organic Multipurpose Plant Feed that provides a good supply of nutrients. This contains micro-organisms that help vitalise the soil.

Heavy feeders need feeding

Feed plants that are heavy feeders such as tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, courgettes and pumpkin with the Organic Multipurpose Plant Food. The high proportion of potassium ensures good taste, sweetness and good suitability for storage.
A liquid feed with an Organic Tomato Feed gives tomatoes in pots and in the garden with a good supply of nutrients. Simply add to the water once a week.

Effectively tackle aphids

Look out for aphids: They can multiply very quickly in mild weather. Tackle these with BugFree Bug and Larvae Killer+.
